Equipping God's People for Life & Ministry
Biblical counseling training is fundamental to restoring Christ to counseling and counseling to the church. If you want to learn how to serve others through wise and loving counseling, you've come to the right place.
Who is Biblical Counseling Training for?
For over 50 years, the CCEF School of Biblical Counseling has trained students how to embody the wisdom and love of Jesus when facing the many issues of life. Our courses help you grow in your confidence to offer Christlike counsel to those in need, no matter their struggles.
For Christians
Biblical counseling training is for anyone who seeks to know people better, know Christ better, and winsomely connect the two. Whether you want to be a better friend or counsel in a local church or parachurch context, our online courses equip you to offer hope to others.
For Pastors and Church Leaders
Our training is for pastors, church leaders, and others regularly serving in the local church. By taking our online courses, you will grow in your ability not only to preach and teach biblically but also to shepherd and counsel your congregations with biblical care and wisdom.
For Vocational Counselors
While our courses and certificates of completion do not lead toward certification, licensure, or a degree, they may be a rich supplement for vocational counselors and mental health professionals seeking to learn the contours of biblical counseling.
Foundational Courses
Don't know where to start? Whether you are working toward a certificate of completion or are simply taking classes, Dynamics of Biblical Change and Helping Relationships are our foundational courses.
The way that you counsel other people is determined by how you understand God, yourself, other people, life's pressures, and change. Dynamics of Biblical Change addresses the depth, breadth, and balance of your understanding. How does Christ's past grace, present grace, and future grace speak to our hearts and change how we live our daily lives?
Helping Relationships is intended to enhance your ministry skills in both everyday conversations and more formal, counseling conversations. This course will help you grow in your ability to listen well, know people, interpret another person’s story from a biblical perspective, and offer biblically-based truth that will motivate others in their growth in Christ.
Our Faculty
CCEF's faculty have extensive training, counseling experience, and expertise in various fields. They continually work on updating their courses with the insights and wisdom they glean from Scripture and practical ministry.
