In this article, Jeffrey Forrey presents a case study of a woman whose physical deformity occasioned depression sets up a detailed biblical look at the issue of self-image. Forrey maintains that the notion of glory—divine and human—helps us to think clearly in the midst of self-worth psychologies that hinder Christians from thinking biblically about self-image. He continues his article discussing implications for biblical counseling by applying the principle back into his case study.
