In this article, Craig Higgins argues that The Lord’s Supper is one means of grace through which God’s transforming power brings godly growth and change into our lives. Higgins sees and practices the connections between biblical community, biblical counseling, and Holy Communion. Holy Communion, he says, constantly calls us to practice biblical community as we live out the church’s mission of proclaiming our faith in God and in caring for one another.
