In this article, Gary Almy discusses his experience as a psychologist and his move away from psychology towards biblical counseling. Almy critiques the field of psychology and several psychological theories. He concludes that psychology is man-centered, avoids authority, merely reflects the culture at the time and has goals antithetical to Scripture.
