In this article, Jay Adams discusses the style of evangelism that Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians 14:23-25: incidental evangelism. Adams maintains that every aspect of a sermon must have the gospel message at their core. Although one can preach on a variety of topics, every sermon must be distinctively Christian and have direct or oblique connections to the gospel message. Adams uses Ephesians 5:22-33 to show how Paul used this principle in his own preaching and teaching.
