In this article, Ronald Harris presents pastoral counselors with practical tools for utilizing music as a vehicle of the work of Christ in regulating a counselee’s affect and cognition. With his graduate-level background in music composition he seeks to chart new territory in a ‘biblical music therapy’ by presenting biblical and theological principles orchestrated into a twelve month pilot study. The article is presented as the fruits of a doctoral project report.
