In this article, Howard Eyrich discusses the idea of a “School Counselor” in the structure of a Christian school and proposes a Christian model of this staff person. Eyrich proposes the title “Christian School and Family Consultant” as a way to better describe the role such staff should have and describes specific scenarios in which this role could function. Eyrich’s article is followed by a response to his proposal, written by Joy Levi-Nolander.
